AITerm

By creating an account, installing the connector, or otherwise using the AITerm service ("Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance and parties

These terms form a binding contract between you ("You") and Kodeværk Danmark, Tunnelvej 8, 6392 Bolderslev, Denmark, CVR 46346084 ("We", "Us"). The Service consists of (a) the open-source AITerm connector (MIT-licensed) which you install on your own machine and (b) the hosted hub at aiterm.io which relays connections.

2. What the Service is

AITerm relays terminal sessions between your browser and the AI-tools you run on your own infrastructure. We do not provide the AI models themselves and we do not execute commands on your machines — those run locally in the processes you choose to spawn.

3. Account and security

You are responsible for keeping your password and connector tokens confidential. Notify us promptly at hello@aiterm.io if you suspect unauthorised access. You may operate up to the number of machines permitted by your plan.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to violate any law, to send unsolicited bulk messages, to infringe intellectual property, to attack or probe systems you do not own, to abuse rate limits, to circumvent our security mechanisms, or to operate any service the function of which is to defraud third parties. We may suspend accounts violating these rules without notice.

5. Plans and pricing

AITerm is currently free to use under these terms. We do not have any paid standard plans at this time. For enterprise needs — self-hosting on your own infrastructure, your own TLS, your own database, maintenance by arrangement — we negotiate individual terms on request (hello@aiterm.io). If we later introduce paid plans, we will notify active account holders by email at least 30 days in advance. Existing free usage will not become retroactively chargeable when paid plans are introduced.

6. Open-source connector

The AITerm connector is distributed under the MIT licence at github.com/aiterm-io/aiterm-connector. The licence applies to the connector code only — these terms govern your use of the hosted Service. A separate self-hosting bundle is available under a Business Source License (BSL 1.1).

7. No warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR €50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, OR LOST DATA. This does not exclude liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or personal injury.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time from your profile page. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or if continuing to provide the Service to you would be illegal. On termination, you may export your data within 30 days, after which we will delete it.

10. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by Danish law, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Denmark, except where mandatory consumer-protection law of your residence requires otherwise. We may amend these terms; material changes are notified by email at least 30 days in advance.
